Congratulations to the Huron Synchronized Swimming Team on their 2nd place finish at the Michigan High School Synchronized Swimming State Championships! Great job RATS!!! Congrats to the 2009 Michigan High School Synchronized Swimming All-State Athletes; Danielle DiRosa, Laura Ganzel, Jenny Gilham, Catherine Harris, Emily Hines, Ilana Miller and Katy Thompson.

Garage Sale Fundraiser
Our garage sale fundraiser will be held on Aug 22nd from 11-3PM and Aug 23rd 8-3PM, at 3828 Hillside Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The pool pump is broken again. Practice is cancelled 2/26, 2/27 and 2/28. As long as the pool is back up and running practice will resume on 3/1/08 from 10-2:00 PM and we have added practice on Sunday from 12:00-2:00 PM. Thanks for your patience throughout all this!

The 2/11/08 home routine meet Huron vs. Grosse Pointe has been cancelled. Huron will compete against Grosse Pointe at the 2/15/08 routine meet with Troy High School.

NO PRACTICE ON 1/10/08 due to the boy's swim meet. A-team will land drill from 5:30-7:30 in the Athletic Classroom. Enjoy the night off! :)

Tomorrow's practice (Saturday 12/29) has been cancelled. Please carefully review the events calendar for updated practice times throughout the next few weeks. It is suggested that you print off the events calendar so that you have the most up-to-date version. Please do not rely on the calendar posted on High School Sports.net as it is NOT accurate. Funeral arrangements for Grace Hines (Emily's mother) will take place this Wednesday, 12/19/07, at 11AM in the Muehlig Funeral Chapel on 430 S. Fourth Ave. Students are excused from school for all those wanting to attend the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an education fund for her children (Hines Education Fund, c/o Rita Hines, 7872 Briarbrook, Ypsilanti,MI, 48197). We will make a contribution to this fund on behalf of the team. Food donations are needed for the funeral service. If you are interested please contact Cat Harris.

Meet volunteer sign-up sheets have been added to the file attachments link. Team sweats have been ordered and the cost for both full-zip hoodie w/matching sweatpant is $35.00. Payment (cash/money order) in full will be required in order for swimmers to take home their sweats. Black suits and white swimcaps will be ordered this evening. We should receive the order within 2-3 business days - just in time for the figure invite meet on 12/8/07.
